Happy Halloween!!

Hello my friends, its time for another blog! Today I am showcasing a really fun image from one of my favorite lines by Sherry Ann Baldys  Halloween line.

I don't really have opportunities to do Halloween cards so this was extra fun.

I chose to color this cutie up with a mixture of Prisma and Polychromos pencils. I am thrilled with the outcome. 

These are the colors I used:

Hat: polychomos #; 153,246,160,119. Prismas: non photo blue, parma violet and Mulberry

Moon: Poly's 106,113,102,107,101,109

little clouds on hat: prisma parma violet

Sunflowers Polys: 126,109,107,102

Rings on moon: polys 126,115,102

Bats: prisma black

Skin Prismas: light peach, dar peach, burnt ochre, cream 

Hair: Polys: 232,273,181,160, 119  Prisma: parma violet, lilac

Mermaids in July!!

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful summer.  Today I am showcasing  yet another pretty mermaid. This one took me a while to get the colors just right, but I am happy with the final outcome!
Summer has been warm with little
"R" (we don't use the whole word here, lol).With our very hot summer here in Ontario Canada, I wish I lived under the water!!! We are having some guests next week, and one of them is 2 year old Violet. I got her an 8'blow up pool, so that we all can join her in the water. Maybe I should invest in a mermaid tail, hahahah!!

Happy Canada Day

Hello again, well don't know what the weather is like where you are, but we have been hit with an unbelievably stifling heat wave!! All the more reason to stay inside, with lots of air conditioning, and color, cuz well sometimes we need an excuse to color, ( ok not really, but sounds good)

This month is mermaids.  I love the mermaids with all the pretty colors and the colors of the ocean. So much fun.

It feels like summer will actually come and visit

Hi everyone, My two favorite months of the year are June and September. June cause the weather is usually getting warmer and its my birthday month, and September cause the leaves are starting to change and the darn humidity is usually starting go away.

Hello everyone, I feel like the mail lady,LOL. I had major knee surgery on April 18 and 3 days before that I fell on the ice and broke my wrist.
